The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 时至今日，西部片几乎已经不单独出现，而是作为一种元素和风味融入各种类型的电影里。东木爷爷用公路来诠释西部的想法还是挺好的，之前《朱》也还挺高质量的，但是毕竟九十高龄，各方面在这部作品里不可避免地显颓。作为影迷看这样的作品心理感情挺复杂的，只是希望他保重身体～
西部慢调，抚慰人心。希望老爷子一直拍到120岁
行货吧，也不能说差，但就是没什么出彩的点，除了几段的摄影。
情节之间僵硬脱节，不是很好的剧作。老牛仔的暮年哀伤，我相信东木自己是接受时代和岁月变迁的，但是对于一个几乎将自己2/3人生都贡献给电影的人多少还是能看出他的不甘心和不消停（褒义）。希望老爷子长命百岁，我认为对于东木的最好结局是逝于片场吧。
电影本身很淡很简单。能够看到老爷子还在拍电影就好温暖，
cowboy挽歌，骡子这次在完美的世界中运的是男孩，也是自己的往昔。老爷子对过去是无限怀念，i don’t know how to cure old,这也是他对自己的发问吧。感动，只要你还在拍片，我们就能于银幕相遇。
风味是有些，尤其是墨西哥娘们儿，内容就呵呵了。

这部拍的确实有点糙，考虑老爷子的年龄多给一星。

你为什么会懂手语？只是漫漫人生路的一种收获。
如何温柔地与现实妥协，脚步放缓的同时也试图想让一切变的更加细水长流，让所有的美好都更加美好，让所有的温情都更加动人，没有任何技巧，没有任何所谓的套路与转折，只看到我们自己内心真正想要的东西。不过可以看出最后的倔强依然也在被保留和坚持，这趟关于西部情怀的公路之旅，是应该让当下花花世界所看到的，需要被铭记的那段回忆与歌谣。所有美好到不真实的瞬间都或许是自己享受过的梦境，不愿醒来，因为醒来的时候眼角会湿润。
