The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 木村萌 配角们极尽做作之能事 剧本（估计是东野又写的破B小说）没事找事
小说就看不进去，电影更是走马灯一般，什么都说了，毫无电影感。两位主演辛苦了。
打破规矩特长互补，杀人勒索虚假时间，不行说不行噢；不像上集用几个故事铺垫再用主线总结，这次基本集中只讲主线一个故事，还用LGBT和二次羞辱做了点升华，但长泽雅美和木村拓哉咋完全不来电鸟？
内容和推理还是很东野圭吾，很社会派。主要是真的能把服务做到这种无微不至的地步吗，向往又很怀疑，是不是表演的成分更多呢。最想吐槽的点就是搞什么测试，明知道警察在办案还要混淆视听，是不是没事找事。
漫威的这一波 又开启了新的世界 感觉一个宇宙已经不够玩儿了 要开启更多平行世界 还相互交织 不过感觉上永恒族就是各种技能包不齐的英雄 奇异女博士 弱化闪电女 减配版可飞行独眼龙 等等吧 之前的那几波还不知道什么时候要交汇一下？
继小熊维尼以后第二部在电影院睡着的影片，悬疑得有点生硬，加上木村拓哉的千年不变演技，观感很一般 2021/8品川T-Joy
剧本挺弱的，源于原作就不行吧⋯⋯伏笔埋得刻意。长泽雅美还是那么美。看得挺愉快，挺养眼的。打发时间可以看看。
麻酱去LA没有下一部了吧，千万别有了，东野的推理小说真的好无聊啊
电影三星，原著续作就不太好。另外一星给木村拓哉的新田桑，一星给开场和后面那两段好看的探戈。
没想到又来到这个酒店 愉快的除夕假期泡汤hhh本身就戴着假面谜团重重的客人 这次再戴一层假面参加倒计时晚会 500位客人里寻找犯人 不禁感慨国内登记酒店都要实名制的优点！泽村一树不停提无礼要求的样子让我觉得他是LA派来考察的（结果真的是hh 十五分钟的计时器和主持人宣布十分钟新年倒计时同时的画面 我直接觉得有五分钟时间差根本不需要推理🤣最后邀请まさみLA回来一起吃饭被说無理です太可爱了hhh大神的探戈和最后的假面扮相真的帅惨了！

而偏偏又在这个错误的尝试中，夹带了完全不可以并且没必要的私货，不知是漫威还是她拍的板，但商业上大获成功的漫威因此丢掉商业价值巨大的一个市场。
经典阖家大联欢，乐趣完全是建立在在认卡司和找演员上
挺乱的，你的我的他的，各种角色各种关系错综复杂，但因为看过第一部还算有点感情，所以能看个大概，最后结局也算预料之中，前面铺垫了好几次的拿来破了最后的局，凑活能看看
导演啊，能不能稍微把麻酱拍美点，让木村少装酷一点。编剧啊，能不能把推理部分改编得更具魅力些（作案动机也太没说服力，况且这凶手小屁孩都不会错认性别吧），能不能合理些（告密者是怎么知道凶手电话的；人躺那居然不是第一时间诊察还活着没；包搁那半天居然没人上去检查）；能不能精简人物、情节和台词。

电影后半段展开了围绕关于使命和决定文明存亡的讨论，融入了类似于车轨问题的思想，但是角色对人性和文明的见解显得粗浅而幼稚。
