The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不过基本的美德 善行与坚持 守诺与怜悯等等还是表现的不错
美术就值4星了。画面，配色，构图，真的好。

我不理解，感觉不伦不类，这也太装了…David Lowery更适合去搞装置艺术。
单就电影而言，我只喜欢它的荒诞不经和中世纪欧洲的布景
长篇叙事诗。导演野心很大，敢用亚瑟王圆桌骑士的故事玩meditation，听说借鉴了塔可夫斯基的《安德烈•卢布廖夫》，学习尚未成功，还有继续努力的空间，还可以再大胆一点。

空洞的花活纯属自废武功，高不成低不就之典范。
The first part in B/W could be seen as a journey to bid his brother a moving adieu by transporting the ashes of Pirandello, whose works have been adapted by the brothers, to his Sicilian homeland. Whereas the second part in color is quite confusing for us who have never read the story before. The shift from grey to color is poetic though
放荡不羁之人为了荣誉接受母亲所安排的“挑战”，在欢呼声中斩下绿衣骑士的头颅，为人传颂，却根本不配成为骑士，他吝啬，他贪婪，他胆怯，他无视友谊，他禁不住诱惑，根本不是传奇中所描述的那般英武，直到将死之际，他看到虚伪的王位带来的毁灭与终究逃不脱的命运，他终于坦荡，昂起头颅，接受死亡，算是得以成长
4.3/光线和布景的美学体验太棒了，以及令人震惊的配乐，已经顾不上故事的沉闷拖沓以及各种莫名其妙，小伙子加冕的一刻有被帅到，脑海中的内心戏很丰富。还沉浸在配乐和视效中久久不能自拔。
重点在路上，让我想起中国的古代神话故事，第一个想到的是《倩女幽魂》，都是考验。
好古怪但令人忍不住多看几眼，这个故事如果用“正统”拍法反而没什么看头。
【Ralph Ineson的映前导赏又有用又可爱~】莫名对标的是好几个有着接近背景的作品：《天命之咒》、Taron版《罗宾汉》、Fuqua04版《亚瑟王》….无一滑铁卢。繁复的大场面和高昂的制作投入虚有其表，却总是忽视了角色“现代性”行动逻辑与时代的格格不入。然而这里却是个全然不同的故事，角色自己的历程与道德式剖析在其中紧密相扣，并不急于快进到更为直观的结果与转折。观众可以知道TA所了解之外的，而导演也清楚自己要在“之外的”做怎样的开拓。但恨不得辱骂A24宣发，Dev Patel的下一提怕是要被你吃了。
无功无过剧情老套的儿童片，没劲时可以看看。
