The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很神奇，我在一个没有生命的机器身上，看清什么是生命，什么是活着。在人类的道德和规则崩塌之后，芬奇在一个机器人身上延续人性的率真和生机勃勃。世界毁灭了，人性却得以重生。
新瓶装旧酒，换汤不换药。寡淡而俗套，总的来说就是——平庸。更令人郁闷的是，连起伏和历程都不甚明了，编剧在芬奇的都做得如此模糊，怎么又能希冀在杰夫身上做得很好呢？
居然不是 Netflix 出品？这就是 Love, Death and Robot 啊！噢，还有条 Dog 哈哈哈。

养狗人看了就是会很感动哇…虽然机器人的设定多少有些想当然了。
3.5 汉克斯的表演至少将本片的高度拉了一层。最后演绎的真是太悲伤了。
一开始以为会很普通，因为感觉一切都像是末日大片，跨种族友情，蒸汽朋克的公路电影的缝合怪。但是怎么说呢，他烹饪的方式还是很让人舒服，主要塑造的是两个戏，外界的坏人是一个若隐若现的麦格芬，隐去的很巧妙。没办法，汤姆汉克斯看到蝴蝶的那一幕还是感动了，带两年了口罩已经强迫症洗手的我，无法不代入。
画面氛围还不错，7分
很工整的结构，三个故事揭秘人物过去，讲主题“信任”，层层递进。
如果到最后只有机器人和狗可以信任，那才是真的世界末日吧。
与疫情斗得身心俱疲的我们太需要这样一部电影，温馨，感动，放缓情绪和节奏，来一次心灵的旅行~怀念那些单纯和美好。
印度这些年的不少片让我们这边的观影者感慨：敢拍。我觉得更可贵的是，能审批通过，能上映让全国全世界的人看到——有了这样制度的前提，制片方到导演到团队，不存在“敢不敢”的问题。
