The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 谁都是曾经绚烂缤纷热情洋溢和这个世界碰撞燃烧着，但也会流于平淡失去光泽。
看过rent，见到其中一版mimi的扮演者也有参演这部电影。端了五年盘子，写了最重要的那首歌，花了八年时间准备的presentation获得巨大好评，依然无法出道，所有追梦人的一个缩影。好在伯乐和朋友的鼓励让他继续坚持下去。rent的故事原来是来自他的朋友们，可惜生命停在了剧上映前一夜，好像唐涤生，天妒英才。似乎都是这样敏感、脆弱和感性。
也能摆脱诸如像“三十而立”的人生焦虑。
也不只是国内有年龄焦虑要三十而立结婚生子，还是不要太逼自己在什么时间点之前扬名立万的好吧，电影原型后来的作品被认可但他三十五岁生病死掉了都没看见自己的成绩。电影是很可以引起浑浑噩噩的三十岁人的共鸣，什么时候能看到希望呀？可是加菲唱歌不太好诶。。。

本片是林-曼努尔·米兰达的导演处女作，可以看做是不那么浪漫的《爱乐之城》。
开始觉得诶，音乐挺好听的，后来诶，那个女主长得挺像吉克隽逸，至于音乐剧其实是挺不容易有所感冒的，但不知为何看完最后一个音落竟然莫名有些感动。谁知道呢
片子和演员都没什么问题，关键看观众能不能投入感情，可惜观看过程中我的感情无处投放，可能音乐剧粉丝感触会更深吧。

半自传式呈现音乐剧作家的艺术人生。故事和音乐都不太出色。
哭崩溃了……对rent无感的我，却在这两个小时里不断被rent的每个人物每个情节冲击。roger，mark，angel，mimi……他纪念了他们每一个人，他们永在。
才华横溢的乔纳森·拉森蜗居在纽约一个小公寓里写音乐，在1983年到1990年之间，他一直在创作一部叫《傲慢》的音乐剧。
最后有点感人，加菲老了但露出脆弱一面的时候还是像小朋友
