The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 根据真实事件改编，从潦倒拳击手到神父的故事。他并不长的一生，却是转折不断，磨难多多。车祸后的神启，让其开始笃信上帝，并献身此事业。导演过于想强调其前后的反差了，重点放到他此前的生活中，节奏又未把握好，拍得并不有趣。

探险历程很平淡，就平铺直叙，最后一直在营地呆着，不够精彩
