The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 无法承受巨大的失去所带来的悲伤而选择上路，因为在路上没有final goodbye，总抱着希望迟早会再相见。献给那些不得不上路的人，祝福那些没有经历过这种悲伤的人们永远不要有这样的经历。
整个故事讲得很节制，镜头表达和主角主观的距离感刚刚好，认识这种真实事件对个人生活也有警醒作用
除去剪辑配乐和细节处理上缺乏想象力等问题外 还有大部分女导演都会有的一个通病：sentimentally melodramatic
“要有多坚强，才敢念念不忘”。
其实更喜欢<骑士>啦，这部也不赖，但也不至于惊叹好得过分，你能看到一个人而非只是个女性与这个世界自处的方式，和解真的存在吗？越过山水，才知道答案。

看着还是纪录片的手法和拍摄方法，画面不那么好看，老头老太太也不讨喜，估计应该是题材还算新颖。

慢慢的成纪录片式的展开美国中西部的普通人故事。我也是从一个矿业小镇出来的，如今很久没有回去了。
像纪录片一般，跟随着科恩嫂试着去理解这些现代游牧民族。不要试图用理性去解构他们的动机，选择游牧本身就充满了浪漫。大自然和同胞的友情是对伤痛最好的治愈。

拍出了homeless和houseless的不同，非常契合项飙说的「敢于不占有」。但看完我思考最多的，是看望住院病人时送泡面，到底算很亚洲的行为（因为是日清杯面），还是很不亚洲的行为（因为「没营养」）呢……
