The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. interesting angle..but sports are all about the winning spirit, passion, obsession..just not feeling the excitement..the father/coach figure, if only it did a decent job as Dangal. such an inspiring journey, this movie seems barely do justice to their stories. the Williams sister endorsed it so maybe it's a love letter to their parents not for fans

按枭雄片的拍法来做家庭片，偏执屌丝带着全家逆袭的大爽文，为了冲奖夹带一些相对生硬又不太落地的政治元素，不过我觉得还是挺好看的，但我没看过《摔跤吧爸爸》所以没法对比，以后以后看完《摔》再看看需不需要调整评分。这片受众本来就是给望子成龙的父母看的，蛊惑性还可以，适合给想培养出下一代谷爱凌的中国家长们放给子女看哈
洗脑式画饼教育
看到末尾，感觉有点乏力。这个国王从结果看是成功的，从过程看是偏执的。教育中缺少的儿童视角，是偏颇的。打网球真的很帅。
拍代际关系部分比训练比赛好看，后者感觉套路化，听着音乐都能猜到剧情，节奏平淡。黑人家庭的patriarch形象到刻画得很细致，但是小配角（尤其白人形象）大多扁平且负面，仅为了突出主角家庭。小威的故事没怎么讲，对她成为世界第一的期望不太有说服力。

有这么个自大偏执控制狂的父亲真是惨，最后成功只是恰好女儿真的有天赋罢了。
美国的传记电影好在愿意把主角的争议摆出来而不是一味高大上。另外，那些花钱把小孩送进各种培训班却坐在外面玩手机的家长真应该向人家学一下，你要求小孩变成什么样的人，首先你要成为这样的人。
千篇一律的励志片，无感。
其实一般， 当了解俩姐妹的电影看。史密斯里面也没有太多体现演技的地方啊
竞技体育传记电影已经挺老套了，还是个父权视角……
中规中矩的体育励志电影，但是确实是威尔史密斯的个人秀。
3.5，摔跤吧爸爸真人网球版，这个爸爸确实有想法有决断，两个女儿的成功，爸爸功不可没，但女儿们更是艺高人胆大，小小年纪，被采访里那句“我希望别人都像我”镇住。
这么平的剧情，这么浅薄的人物塑造，我觉得这一届的奥斯卡男主大概率是九字了。

很平平无奇的传记片，威尔就像那种最普通的父亲，拼了老命一直给孩子提供各种可能性。
威尔·史密斯当然实至名归，表演一流。但电影本身还是比较中庸。无非是底层人民通过努力崛起，一举成名。
